Newsletter Exchange Program

The Halifax Regional Library and the Genealogical Association of Nova Scotia are pleased to announce a new genealogy newsletter collection at the Spring Garden Road Reference Department.

GANS participates in a newsletter exchange program with other genealogy societies from across Canada, the US and overseas. This collection used to be housed at NSARM-Public Archives site, but have since been relocated to Spring Garden Reference. For a small fee, you can now request copies of articles from these newsletters through your local Public Library's Interlibrary Loans Service (charges may vary depending in your public library's ILL policies). The collection is also available for viewing (at no cost) at the Spring Garden Road Memorial Public Library Reference Departent (5381 Spring Garden Road, Halifax, Nova Scotia).
